Overview
Phase 3, randomised, open-label trial of prednisone and hydroxychloroquine in acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD) (4 arms), sponsored by Starship Child Health. Primary endpoint: 6-point ordinal scale of RHD severity, need for surgery, or death at 6 months. Planned start Dec 2026; status: not yet recruiting.
