Randomised, double-blind trial of topiramate in obesity, insulin resistance (IR) and impaired fasting glucose (IFG) (2 arms), sponsored by Lygature. Primary endpoints: Endogenous glucose production, Rate of appearance and disappearance of glucose and 1 more. Planned start May 2008; status: not yet recruiting.
