Overview
Open-label trial of dexamethasone in chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) and Lewis-Sumner syndrome (MADSAM) (2 arms), sponsored by Amsterdam University Medical Center. Primary endpoints: Change in excitability indicating hyperpolarization and Change in severity and number of conduction blocks. Planned start May 2009; status: not yet recruiting.
