Dronedarone in permanent atrial fibrillation with additional risk factors

Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial in Atrial fibrillation (AFib) and atrial flutter (AFL) comparing Dronedarone + standard therapy with Placebo + standard therapy (2 arms). Primary endpoints: Composite of first stroke, systemic arterial embolism, myocardial infarction, or cardiovascular death and Composite of first unplanned cardiovascular hospitalization or death from any cause.
