Drug intelligence / Profile preview
1A46 is a trispecific T-cell engager antibody that simultaneously targets CD3 on cytotoxic T lymphocytes and CD19 and/or CD20 on B cells. By binding to these antigens, it redirects and activates cytotoxic T cells to recognize and kill malignant B cells expressing CD19 or CD20. The drug is being developed for the treatment of relapsed/refractory (r/r) B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL), as well as other advanced malignancies with CD19 or CD20 expression. It is administered intravenously and has been evaluated in first-in-human phase I/II clinical trials in China and the US for hematologic cancers such as lymphoma and leukemia[1][2][3][4][5]. GSK has acquired global rights from Chimagen Biosciences with plans to expand development into autoimmune diseases like systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and lupus nephritis[7].
