Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-MY is a novel PET imaging radiopharmaceutical consisting of a nanobody (single-domain antibody) targeting the 5T4 oncofoetal antigen, labeled with the positron-emitting isotope Gallium-68 (68Ga). The 5T4 antigen is a glycoprotein highly expressed on the surface of various solid tumors, including lung and breast cancers, while showing minimal expression in normal adult tissues. Developed by the Peking University Cancer Hospital & Institute, 68Ga-MY is designed to provide high-contrast PET imaging for the detection, staging, and evaluation of 5T4-positive tumors. Its small size as a nanobody allows for rapid blood clearance and efficient tumor penetration, potentially offering superior diagnostic performance compared to standard 18F-FDG PET/CT in specific oncological contexts.
