7x19 CAR-T cells are an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy platform developed by Shanghai GeneChem Co., Ltd. for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, and colorectal cancer. This therapy is uniquely engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor targeting specific tumor antigens—either Glypican-3 (GPC3), Mesothelin (MSLN), or Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA)—while simultaneously secreting Interleukin-7 (IL-7) and C-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 19 (CCL19). This "7x19" modification is designed to improve the expansion, survival, and recruitment of both the CAR-T cells and endogenous immune cells into the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment of solid tumors. The therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials, often in combination with interventional therapies to enhance local delivery and efficacy in liver and gastrointestinal malignancies.
