Overview

ABP 692 is an investigational biosimilar to Ocrevus (ocrelizumab), a recombinant humanized glycosylated immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) monoclonal antibody that targets CD20, a protein expressed on the surface of B-cells. By binding to CD20, ABP 692 depletes B-cells, which play a key role in the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis. The drug is being developed for the treatment of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis and is currently in Phase 3 clinical trials to demonstrate pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic similarity to ocrelizumab[1][3][4][5][7].
