Actuate-2601

Actuate-2601 is an investigational, next-generation small molecule inhibitor of glycogen synthase kinase-3 (GSK-3) developed by Actuate Therapeutics. Designed for oral administration, it targets both the alpha and beta isoforms of GSK-3. GSK-3 is a key regulatory kinase involved in multiple oncogenic pathways, including Wnt/beta-catenin, NF-kappaB, and c-Myc. By inhibiting GSK-3, Actuate-2601 aims to overcome drug resistance, modulate the tumor microenvironment, and induce apoptosis in various solid cancers. It is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development as a follow-on to the company's lead intravenous candidate, elraglusib.
