Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of three separate TNF-alpha inhibitors: adalimumab, certolizumab pegol, and infliximab. These biologics are used to treat various inflammatory conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and plaque psoriasis. While they share the same primary target (TNF-alpha), they differ in structure and some aspects of their mechanism. Adalimumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody, certolizumab pegol is a pegylated antibody fragment lacking the Fc region, and infliximab is a chimeric monoclonal antibody.
