anwulignan

Anwulignan is a lignan monomer derived from the fruit of *Schisandra sphenanthera*, and is one of the main active ingredients in the traditional Chinese medicine Wuzhi tablet[1][5]. It exhibits a variety of pharmacological actions, most notably as a small molecule inhibitor targeting **Janus kinase 1 (JAK1)**, thereby suppressing the JAK1/STAT3 signaling pathway. Anwulignan induces G1-phase cell cycle arrest, exhibiting anticancer effects in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)[1]. It also demonstrates hepatoprotective properties, alleviating acute liver injury by activating the **Nrf2/ARE pathway** and modulating apoptosis-related proteins such as p53, Bax, Bcl-2, and caspase-3[3][5][8].
