Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) inhibitors are a class of therapeutic agents designed to block the activity or expression of apolipoprotein E, a protein primarily known for its role in lipid metabolism and transport. In the context of oncology, specifically acute myeloid leukemia (AML), ApoE derived from the bone marrow microenvironment (mesenchymal stromal cells) has been identified as a promoter of disease progression.
