ASC41

ASC41 is a peptide-based triple agonist developed by Ascletis Pharmaceuticals, designed to target the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R), the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor (GIPR), and the glucagon receptor (GCGR). Intended for the treatment of obesity, ASC41 aims to achieve significant weight loss by integrating the biological actions of three metabolic hormones. Activation of GLP-1R and GIPR promotes satiety and enhances insulin secretion, while GCGR activation increases metabolic rate and energy expenditure.
