ASK0315

ASK0315 is a monoclonal antibody being developed by Jiangsu Aosaikang Pharmaceutical that targets interleukin-17 (IL-17). IL-17 is a pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a central role in the pathogenesis of various inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). By binding to IL-17 and preventing its interaction with its receptor, ASK0315 inhibits the downstream inflammatory cascades and the recruitment of inflammatory cells that contribute to tissue damage in the gastrointestinal tract. The drug is currently in Phase 2 clinical development specifically for the treatment of moderate-to-severe Crohn's disease.
