ATG + rituximab + sirolimus + mycophenolate mofetil

This combination regimen is a peritransplantation immunosuppressive strategy developed by Prof. Dr. med. Wolfgang Bethge for patients receiving mismatched allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT). The regimen aims to prevent graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) through a multi-pronged approach: T-cell depletion via anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG), B-cell depletion via the anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody rituximab, and post-grafting maintenance immunosuppression using the mTOR inhibitor sirolimus and the antimetabolite mycophenolate mofetil (MMF). This specific protocol is typically administered following a reduced-intensity conditioning (RIC) regimen of fludarabine and treosulfan.
