AU14-5

AU14-5 is a highly potent and selective oral small molecule inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2), currently in late-stage preclinical development by Aucentra Therapeutics. CDK2 is a key regulator of the cell cycle, particularly driving the transition from G1 to S phase, and its dysregulation is a common driver in various malignancies. AU14-5 has demonstrated exceptional selectivity for CDK2 when evaluated against a panel of 360 human protein kinases. The drug is being investigated for the treatment of both solid tumors and hematological malignancies, with specific focus on ovarian cancer, triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), prostate cancer, hormone-dependent cancers, and leukemia.
