Overview

B7-H3 shRNA is a research-grade gene-silencing tool consisting of short hairpin RNA (shRNA) sequences designed to knock down the expression of B7-H3 (CD276), a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and immune regulatory molecule. B7-H3 is frequently overexpressed in various malignancies and is associated with tumor progression, immune evasion, and metastasis. In preclinical models, B7-H3 shRNA is utilized to investigate the protein's role in chemotherapy resistance, cell migration, and signaling pathways such as Jak2/Stat3 and Raf/MEK/ERK. It is typically delivered via plasmids or lentiviral particles and is intended for non-commercial, laboratory research use only, with no current clinical development as a branded therapeutic entity.
