Overview

CAR2219 CAR-T cells are an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to simultaneously target CD19 and CD22, two antigens frequently expressed on the surface of B-cell malignancies. By targeting both antigens, this therapy aims to reduce the risk of relapse caused by antigen escape, which is a common limitation of single-target CAR-T therapies. Developed by The First Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital in China, CAR2219 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for patients with relapsed or refractory CD19+ and CD22+ B-cell lymphoma.
