Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CC-90002 + rituximab is a combination therapy used in clinical studies for hematologic malignancies, particularly CD20-positive non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). **CC-90002** is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting CD47, which blocks the CD47-SIRPα interaction and enables macrophage-mediated killing of tumor cells[7]. **Rituximab** is an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody that induces cell death through antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and complement-dependent cytotoxicity. Combining these agents is hypothesized to produce additive or synergistic antitumor effects by simultaneously promoting macrophage-mediated phagocytosis and direct B-cell depletion[1][7]. Phase 1 trials have shown modest clinical activity, tolerability, and common adverse effects including thrombocytopenia[7]. No significant hemolysis was observed.
