Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CD19-CAR T cells + CD20-CAR T cells is a dual-targeted chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy that targets both CD19 and CD20 antigens on B cells. This combination approach is designed to address antigen escape and loss of T-cell functionality in B-cell malignancies. The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express chimeric antigen receptors that recognize both CD19 and CD20 antigens, enabling the modified T cells to target and kill cancer cells expressing either or both antigens. Clinical trials have shown promising efficacy and safety profiles in patients with relapsed/refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma and central nervous system lymphomas.
