CD20 CAR-T cell

CD20 CAR-T cell is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD20 antigen. Developed by Henan Provincial People's Hospital, this cellular immunotherapy is designed to treat B-cell hematologic malignancies, including B-cell lymphoma, acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Philadelphia chromosome-positive), and chronic myeloid leukemia in lymphoid blast crisis. The therapy involves genetically engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically recognizes and binds to CD20 on the surface of malignant B cells, leading to targeted cell lysis. It has been evaluated in clinical trials in China, including a sequential multi-target CAR-T therapy study combined with CD19 and CD22 CAR-T cells, although the trial was subsequently suspended or cancelled by the investigator.
