CDH17-targeted radioligand therapy is an experimental radiopharmaceutical being developed for the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies, including colorectal, gastric, and pancreatic cancers. It utilizes a fully human monoclonal antibody scaffold to target Cadherin 17 (CDH17), a cell surface protein highly expressed in these tumors. By delivering a radioactive payload directly to CDH17-expressing cells, the therapy aims to overcome resistance observed with microtubule and topoisomerase I inhibitor-based antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Preclinical data presented by Corellia AI and Champions Oncology demonstrate potent efficacy in patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models, including those refractory to Deruxtecan-based ADCs.
