Overview

Celecoxib + R-CHOP is a combination chemoimmunotherapy regimen being evaluated for the treatment of newly diagnosed, advanced CD5-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (CD5+ DLBCL). The regimen integrates celecoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor, with the standard R-CHOP backbone consisting of rituximab (a CD20-directed monoclonal antibody), cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone. The addition of celecoxib is intended to target the inflammatory microenvironment and COX-2 expression, which are linked to poor outcomes and immune evasion in aggressive B-cell lymphomas. This specific investigation is led by Sun Yat-sen University in a multicenter Phase II clinical trial.
