By targeting both TYK2 and JAK1, the compound aims to modulate multiple cytokine signaling pathways involved in autoimmune and inflammatory responses, including those mediated by Type I interferons, IL-12, IL-23, and IL-6. This dual mechanism of action is intended to provide a broader therapeutic profile than selective inhibitors while maintaining a favorable safety profile. The drug is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
