chidamide + R-ICE

Chidamide + R-ICE is a combination therapy consisting of chidamide, an oral histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor, and the R-ICE chemotherapy regimen. Chidamide modulates chromatin remodeling by increasing histone acetylation, suppressing lymphoma cell growth, promoting apoptosis, and enhancing immune-mediated tumor cell killing. The R-ICE regimen includes rituximab (a monoclonal antibody targeting CD20 on B cells), ifosfamide (an alkylating agent), carboplatin (a platinum-based chemotherapeutic), and etoposide (a topoisomerase II inhibitor). This combination is being investigated for relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and other aggressive lymphomas. Chidamide may help overcome resistance to chemotherapy and enhance the cytotoxic effects of rituximab by counteracting CD20 downregulation[2][3]. The combined approach aims to improve response rates in patients with limited treatment options.
