Overview

CHO-H01 is a glycoengineered monoclonal antibody targeting CD20, a surface marker specifically expressed on B cells. It is the world's first biobetter antibody with homogeneous, fully α2,6-sialylated biantennary glycan. The drug's mechanisms of action include antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP), complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), and induction of apoptosis. Compared to its non-glycoengineered parental form, CHO-H01 demonstrates increased binding affinity to Fc gamma receptor IIIa and significantly enhanced ADCC activity (by 30-50 fold) in preclinical studies. It also shows potent activity against B lymphoma cells resistant to rituximab. CHO-H01 is being developed for the treatment of various subtypes of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and is currently in Phase I/II clinical trials[1][2][3][5].
