Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CT-1190B is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and certain hematologic malignancies. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials, with primary indications including moderate to severe refractory systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), refractory/progressive systemic sclerosis (SSc), and relapsed/refractory B-cell lymphoma. The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR targeting specific disease-related antigens, enabling targeted immune-mediated destruction of pathogenic cells. The drug was initially developed by Shanghai Tongji Hospital and is being actively developed in collaboration with CARsgen Therapeutics[1][2][3][4][7].
