CT1192 is an allogeneic (universal), dual-targeted chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy developed by Carsgen Therapeutics. It is designed to target both CD19 and CD20 antigens, which are widely expressed on the surface of B-lineage cells. By targeting two antigens simultaneously, the therapy aims to achieve more complete B-cell depletion and minimize the risk of antigen escape, a common mechanism of resistance in CAR-T therapy. As a "universal" or allogeneic product, CT1192 is derived from healthy donor T cells and genetically modified to prevent graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and host-mediated rejection, enabling "off-the-shelf" administration without the need for patient-specific manufacturing. It is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials for B-cell malignancies and various refractory autoimmune diseases, aiming to induce an "immune reset" by deeply depleting pathogenic B-cell populations.
