CT1194C is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Carsgen Therapeutics for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (B-NHL). This next-generation therapy targets the B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 and is uniquely engineered with a metabolic modification designed to enhance cellular fitness, persistence, and anti-tumor potency. By optimizing the cellular metabolism of the CAR-T cells, CT1194C aims to overcome the immunosuppressive metabolic environment often found in tumors, potentially leading to more durable clinical responses. The candidate is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, where it is being evaluated for safety, efficacy, and cellular pharmacokinetics in patients who have failed at least two prior lines of systemic therapy.
