Overview

CT1195E is an investigational, autologous, dual-targeted chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to target the B-lymphocyte antigens CD19 and CD20. Developed by the Institute of Hematology & Blood Diseases Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, this therapy is specifically engineered for patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) B-cell neoplasms, including B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL) and B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). A defining feature of CT1195E is its focus on cellular metabolic kinetics; the "E" suffix and trial objectives suggest that the cells may be metabolically modified or optimized to enhance their expansion, function, and persistence within the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. The dual-targeting approach (CD19 and CD20) is intended to mitigate the risk of disease relapse caused by antigen loss or escape, providing a more robust therapeutic effect than single-target CAR-T therapies.
