Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CTN002 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Centenaire Biosciences for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It is engineered using the company's proprietary Twin Fc-ICE (Immune Cell Engagement) technology platform, which involves a restructured monoclonal antibody designed to enhance immune cell engagement and effector functions. CTN002 specifically targets Glypican-3 (GPC3), a cell-surface oncofetal antigen that is highly expressed in HCC but has limited expression in normal adult tissues. By binding to GPC3, CTN002 aims to selectively engage immune effector cells to eliminate cancer cells. As of early 2024, the drug is in the preclinical stage of development.
