Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DivertX is an oral dietary supplement (nutraceutical) developed by EviNature in collaboration with gastroenterologists at Sheba Medical Center. It is a dual-action formula specifically designed to support gut health and manage diverticular disease, including diverticulitis and post-diverticulitis syndrome. The product contains two primary active ingredients: *Coptis chinensis* extract, which is rich in bioactive alkaloids such as berberine, palmatine, and jatrorrhizine, and a gut-directed 95% turmeric curcumin. DivertX works by strengthening the intestinal barrier, supporting the integrity of gut walls, and promoting microbial balance. Berberine from the *Coptis* extract stimulates the production of butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid essential for colonocyte health, while curcumin targets inflammatory pathways to facilitate tissue repair and reduce gut inflammation.
