Overview

DK210 (CD20) is an engineered cytokine fusion protein developed by DEKA Biosciences using its proprietary Diakine™ platform. The molecule consists of a dual-cytokine payload—specifically interleukin-2 (IL-2) and interleukin-10 (IL-10)—fused to a targeting antibody fragment directed against the B-cell marker CD20. This 'Diakine' structure is designed to deliver potent immune-modulating signals directly to the tumor microenvironment of CD20-positive hematological malignancies, such as B-cell lymphomas and leukemias. By combining IL-2 (a pro-inflammatory T-cell activator) with IL-10 (which can have context-dependent anti-inflammatory or CD8+ T-cell stimulatory effects), the drug aims to maximize anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity. The CD20-targeted version of DK210 is currently in early-stage development for various B-cell cancers.
