Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DNT038 is an investigational mRNA vaccine being developed by Denteric in collaboration with CSL and the University of Melbourne. It targets *Porphyromonas gingivalis*, a key bacterial pathogen associated with severe periodontal disease and potentially linked to systemic conditions such as Alzheimer's disease. The vaccine encodes specific *P. gingivalis* antigens to induce a protective immune response against the bacterium. It is currently in preclinical development for the treatment and prevention of periodontal disease and the investigation of its impact on Alzheimer's disease progression.
