Overview

DNX-5000 is a preclinical-stage small molecule drug candidate developed by Dynamix Pharmaceuticals. It functions as a dual inhibitor of Focal Adhesion Kinase (FAK) and Proline-rich Tyrosine Kinase 2 (PYK2). Discovered using the company's proprietary DynamixFit™ technology platform, DNX-5000 is designed as a Type II kinase inhibitor. The drug is being investigated for the treatment of various cancers, where FAK and PYK2 signaling promotes tumor cell migration and survival, as well as for metabolic bone diseases such as osteoporosis, where these kinases play a role in bone remodeling and osteoclast activity.
