Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Docetaxel + finotonlimab is a combination therapy consisting of the chemotherapeutic agent docetaxel and the anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) monoclonal antibody finotonlimab. Docetaxel is a taxane that stabilizes microtubules, thereby inhibiting cell division and inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. Finotonlimab (SCT-I10A) is an immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting PD-1, enhancing T-cell mediated antitumor responses. This combination has been investigated in phase II and III clinical trials for advanced squamous cell non-small cell lung cancer (sqNSCLC), where it demonstrated improved overall survival, progression-free survival, objective response rate, and disease control rate compared to docetaxel alone[1][2]. The regimen involves initial cycles of both drugs followed by maintenance monotherapy with finotonlimab.
