Overview

Epcoritamab is a humanized bispecific monoclonal antibody that functions as a T-cell engager. It targets CD20 on B cells and CD3 on T cells, bringing these two cell types into close proximity to facilitate T-cell–mediated killing of malignant B cells. Epcoritamab is administered subcutaneously and is approved for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), high-grade B-cell lymphoma, and follicular lymphoma after at least two prior lines of systemic therapy. The drug was co-developed by Genmab and AbbVie. Its mechanism involves redirecting and activating T cells to kill CD20-expressing malignant cells through selective cytotoxic activity[1][2][5][6][7].
