Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FACT-019 is an experimental chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by Factor Bioscience. It is engineered to target CD19, a cell surface protein found on B lymphocytes. The therapy is being investigated for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, specifically Large B-cell lymphoma, as well as autoimmune rheumatologic disorders. By directing T cells to recognize and lyse CD19-expressing cells, FACT-019 aims to achieve deep B-cell depletion, potentially offering a therapeutic benefit in both oncology and immunology. It is currently in the early stages of development, ranging from discovery to preclinical studies.
