ferric carboxymaltose + infliximab

This is a combination therapy consisting of ferric carboxymaltose and infliximab, administered sequentially in a single treatment session, primarily for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) who have iron deficiency anemia or iron-restricted anemia. Ferric carboxymaltose is an intravenous iron replacement product that replenishes depleted iron stores and corrects anemia by providing bioavailable iron for erythropoiesis.
