Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FL776 is a small molecule antineoplastic agent being developed by Canget BioTekpharma as a back-up compound to their lead asset, FL118. It is specifically positioned for the treatment of colorectal cancer. Like FL118, FL776 is designed to target and inhibit the expression of multiple cancer-promoting genes, including the RNA helicase DDX5 (p68) and several anti-apoptotic proteins such as survivin, Mcl-1, XIAP, and cIAP2. Additionally, it has been reported to target mutant KRAS (mKras). By simultaneously suppressing these key survival and resistance factors, FL776 aims to overcome drug resistance and inhibit tumor growth in colorectal cancer models. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
