Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FL923 is a preclinical small molecule anticancer agent being developed by Canget BioTekpharma as a backup compound to their lead candidate, FL118. It shares a similar mechanism of action with FL118, a camptothecin-derived molecule, by targeting and degrading the multifunctional oncogenic protein DDX5 (p68). FL923 also inhibits several key anti-apoptotic proteins, specifically survivin, Mcl-1, XIAP, and cIAP2, and is reported to target mutant KRAS (mKras). The drug is primarily positioned for the treatment of pancreatic cancer, aiming to overcome resistance mechanisms associated with these survival pathways.
