Overview

Fluconazole + PF-04965842 is a combination of two pharmaceutical agents. Fluconazole is a synthetic triazole antifungal agent that acts as a highly selective inhibitor of fungal cytochrome P450-dependent enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase, disrupting ergosterol synthesis and leading to fungistatic activity against Candida and other fungi. It is widely used for the treatment of various fungal infections, including those affecting the mouth, vagina, esophagus, lungs, urinary tract, and abdomen[5][7]. PF-04965842 (also known as abrocitinib) is an oral small molecule that selectively inhibits Janus kinase 1 (JAK1), modulating cytokine signaling involved in inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis by targeting pathways including interleukin (IL)-4, IL-13, IL-31 and interferon gamma[1][6][8]. This combination has been studied in drug-drug interaction trials to evaluate pharmacokinetics and safety but does not represent an approved fixed-dose combination therapy.
