Fuzheng Jiedu Quyu Decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The formula is designed based on the TCM principles of strengthening the body's resistance (Fuzheng), clearing toxins (Jiedu), and resolving blood stasis (Quyu). It is primarily investigated for the treatment of cancer-related fatigue (CRF) in cancer patients, often used in conjunction with acupuncture. The decoction is administered orally as a liquid preparation made by boiling a specific combination of herbs. Its therapeutic aim is to address the underlying imbalances and systemic toxicity associated with malignancy and conventional cancer treatments, thereby improving the quality of life and reducing fatigue symptoms in patients.
