Overview

GB241 is a biosimilar of rituximab developed by Genor Biopharma and Nanjing Yoko Biomedical. It is a recombinant chimeric monoclonal antibody targeting the CD20 antigen on B lymphocytes. The drug acts primarily through antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity and T lymphocyte stimulation, leading to the depletion of CD20-positive B cells. Its main clinical development focus has been as a first-line therapy for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), where it is evaluated in combination with CHOP chemotherapy as an alternative to rituximab plus CHOP[2][3][7]. The drug is administered intravenously.
