Overview

GCS002c is a virus-like particle (VLP)-based protein vaccine being developed by Glen Clova Scientific for the treatment of canine atopic dermatitis. The vaccine is designed to induce the production of neutralizing antibodies against interleukin-13 (IL-13), a key Th2 cytokine that plays a central role in the pathogenesis of allergic skin diseases in dogs. By stimulating the animal's own immune system to target IL-13, GCS002c aims to provide a long-acting therapeutic alternative to monoclonal antibodies, potentially offering improved convenience and cost-effectiveness for the management of chronic atopic dermatitis in veterinary patients.
