Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GF-CART01 is a dual-targeting, safety switch-equipped chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy developed for the treatment of B cell malignancies. It is engineered to target both CD19 and CD20 antigens on malignant B cells, enhancing its efficacy against a range of B-cell hematological cancers. The therapy incorporates a genetic safety switch to allow controlled elimination of the CAR-T cells if needed, improving patient safety. GF-CART01 is manufactured using GenomeFrontier’s proprietary Quantum Engine™ platform, which utilizes virus-free gene modification technologies for efficient and robust CAR-T cell production with high proportions of stem cell memory T cells (TSCM), believed to be therapeutically advantageous. As of April 2025, GF-CART01 is in preclinical development with plans for Phase I clinical trials in patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell hematological malignancies who have failed at least two lines of standard therapies or autologous stem cell transplantation[1][2][4][5][6][8].
