Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HCB206 is a preclinical-stage dual-targeting biologic candidate developed by HanchorBio using its proprietary Fc-Based Designer Biologics (FBDB™) platform. The drug simultaneously targets CD20 and the CD47-SIRPα axis, a mechanism intended to achieve superior depletion of pathogenic B cells compared to traditional CD20-targeted therapies. By leveraging the innate immune checkpoint modulation of CD47, HCB206 enhances phagocytic clearance while being engineered to minimize the hematologic side effects, such as anemia and thrombocytopenia, typically associated with first-generation CD47 inhibitors. It is primarily being developed for the treatment of various autoimmune diseases, with clinical entry anticipated in 2026.
