HDM3019

HDM3019 is a potent and highly selective small molecule inhibitor of Janus kinase 1 (JAK1), currently under development by Huadong Medicine Co., Ltd. It is primarily being investigated for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, with a lead indication in rheumatoid arthritis. By selectively targeting the JAK1 isoform, HDM3019 modulates the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, which is a critical mediator for the transduction of signals from various pro-inflammatory cytokines, including interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interferons. This selective inhibition is designed to provide therapeutic efficacy while minimizing the off-target effects associated with the inhibition of other JAK isoforms, such as JAK2-mediated anemia or JAK3-mediated immune deficiencies.
