Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**iberdomide + obinutuzumab** is an investigational combination of a small molecule immunomodulatory drug (iberdomide) and a humanized type II anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody (obinutuzumab) used in clinical studies for patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) lymphoma, including aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), follicular lymphoma, and marginal zone lymphoma. **Iberdomide** acts as a modulator/degrader of Ikaros (IKZF1) and Aiolos (IKZF3), transcription factors essential for lymphocyte development, leading to immunomodulation and antitumor activity. **Obinutuzumab** targets the CD20 antigen on B cells and mediates B-cell depletion through enhanced antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), direct non-apoptotic cell death via lysosomal destabilization, and, to a lesser extent, complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC). The combination is intended to provide synergistic immunomodulation and immune-mediated cytotoxicity to improve efficacy in B-cell malignancies[1][3][2][4][6][8].
