Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The investigational modulator (IM) is a novel small-molecule epigenetic modulator being evaluated for its potential to enhance the efficacy of CAR-T cell therapy in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) [1503eP]. In preclinical studies, epigenetic priming with this modulator demonstrated dual-axis immunometabolic regulatory effects [1503eP]. In CD19 CAR-T cells, the modulator promotes central memory-associated phenotypes, reduces inhibitory receptor expression, and induces persistence-associated transcriptomic reprogramming [1503eP]. In DLBCL models, it induces calcium signaling alterations, mitochondrial stress responses, reactive oxygen species (ROS) modulation, and apoptosis-related signaling activation, thereby increasing lymphoma susceptibility and overcoming intrinsic resistance [1503eP].
